This course is for you who want to learn the very basic embroidery stitches, how to anchor and split the floss, etc.—the absolute basics to get started with embroidery. With a small, manageable embroidery project, you will go through about 10 different free stitches and can then continue experimenting on your own.
There are no stupid questions here, so you can feel completely safe and comfortable being a beginner.
Instructor: Rikke Lyng Christensen. Has 23 years of experience as a textile teacher, founder of the Facebook group Embroidery for fun and part of Moonfeather.
Location: The course is held in private surroundings at Gormsvej 3, 8960 Randers SØ
Price: 365,- incl. fabric with pre-pricked design, needle and instructions, plus tea/coffee.
The course will run with a minimum of 4 participants. The amount is refunded only if the course is cancelled. Any cancellation of the course will be announced 1 week before the course; otherwise, it will go ahead. Remember to put it in your calendar, as no reminder email will be sent before the course.
Please bring embroidery thread (otherwise it will be possible to buy during the course), as well as a small pair of scissors and a packed lunch.
