This course is intended for those who want to learn the very basic embroidery stitches, how to secure and separate the thread, etc. In short, the absolute basics to get started with embroidering. With a small, manageable embroidery project, you will go through about 10 different free stitches and can then continue to experiment on your own.
There are no stupid questions here, so you can feel completely safe and comfortable being a beginner.
Instructor: Rikke Lyng Christensen. Has 23 years of experience as a textile teacher, founder of the Facebook group Embroidery for Fun and part of Moonfeather.
Location: The course will be held in a private setting at Gormsvej 3, 8960 Randers SØ
Price: 365,- incl. fabric with pricked design, needle and instructions, as well as tea/coffee.
The course will be held with a min. of 4 participants. The amount will only be refunded if the course is canceled. Any cancellation of the course will be announced 1 week before the course; otherwise, it will go ahead. Remember to put it in your calendar, as there will be no reminder email before the course.
You are welcome to bring embroidery thread (otherwise it will be possible to buy it at the course), as well as a small pair of scissors and a packed lunch.
